TPM invites student reps from the Universities of Winnipeg and Manitoba to participate in TPM’s activities throughout the year, getting an inside look at all aspects of creating live theatre. They also provide a critical bridge for theatre students, helping TPM facilitate the transition from school into the theatre community. This season, under the leadership of TPM Associate Artistic Director Andraea Sartison, the reps will be devising a new show Science Affairs, which will be shown in progress at the salons.
Liam Naughten is excited to be a part of TPM this year for the 2016-17 season. Liam is currently in his final year at the University of Winnipeg; studying theatre with a focus in performance and directing. He has acted in fringe shows like Where this Passion Lies and Peacock Place. Last year he performed in U of W’s production of Semi-Monde. Liam looks forward to his second year as a University of Winnipeg rep for TPM.
Rebekah Enns is entering her fourth and final year at the University of Winnipeg, she has had a focus in Design and Directing, with a minor in Art History. This past summer she created and toured a show to the Edmonton International Fringe Festival with her company Naked Theatre Productions, it is their third production. Last year she designed the costumes for U of W’s production of Big Love. She looks forward to working with TPM this coming year.
Davis Plett is a Winnipeg-based intermedia artist who works with text, theory, audio, spectacle, and performance. Recent creative endeavours include performing in <<TESSERACT>> for the nuna (now) Icelandic festival, creating and performing a solo show entitled Infidelity at the Winnipeg Fringe, and composing music for the University of Winnipeg’s production of Twelfth Night. Sarah Flynn is thrilled to be working with TPM this year. Sarah is currently in her 4th year at the University of Winnipeg studying theatre performance, stage management and Classics. Sarah has co-produced and performed in 3 fringe shows with her company Naked Theatre Productions, the most recent being Into the Blue (Unmasked) at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival. Last year she performed in U of W’s production of Big Love.
Evan Martin is excited to be working with TPM for the 2016-2017 season while also working through his third year at the University of Manitoba. Evan has studied various forms of Theatre, Film and Directing at the U of M and through other means as well. Last year Evan performed in the Black Hole Theatre’s production of Doubtful House, an original play by playwright Ian Ross.
