CITY OF SELKIRK EVENTS

This weekend, we are teaming up with the City of Selkirk for their Culture Days celebration! It all kicks off this Friday, SEPTEMBER 24th, 2021 – 6 – 9pm with the FRIDAY EVENING STROLL which includes a craft market, food vendors, buskers and art installations at the Waterfront.  What installations? Chautauqua installations! You can check out Variations of a Patchwork Heart throughout the evening and at 7:30, Daniel Jordan will perform Tales and Songs from the Inland Sea on the Waterfront Stage.

And while you are strolling through Selkirk, you can pop by the the Gaynor Family Regional Library, Selkirk Firehall 200 Eaton Ave, Selkirk, MB  and the Mighty Kiwi, 201 Manitoba Avenue to see Shayna’s photo exhibits.

From 10AM – 3PM the City is presenting SELKIRK COMES ALIVE! – a theatrical historical exploration to introduce you to some of the extraordinary individuals who have shaped Selkirk. This strolling performance has actors taking on the roles of those historic personalities. This requires pre registration – more info here.

SEPTEMBER 26th, 2021 – Gaynor Family Regional Library

Come and experience three Interlake Trail events at once! Join us at the Gaynor Family Region Library as we promenade inside and out of this wonderful community space. Tanner Manson and Marsha Rasmussen Knight will be your guides for live performance and short films.
