2024-2025 Annual Report

This season, TPM featured two stellar Manitoban playwrights, and a pantheon of indelible characters choosing to exist on their own terms in a world that greatly underestimates them.

Highlights include: The only 5-star production in the 24-25 Winnipeg theatre season, the highest attendance of any TPM season, a love for developing new works, and the departure of our Managing Director, Sam McLean.


2023-2024 Annual Report

Our season of partnerships flourished with firsts: Our first Art Parties, our first partnership with the Royal MTC, our first Managing Director, and TPM’s first ever musical!

Highlights include: The long-anticipated world premiere of End of the Line by Walk&Talk Theatre, our sold-out Poetry Night, the appointment of Sam McLean as our Managing Director, and a 5-star co-production with MTC of among men by David Yee.


2022-2023 Annual Report

This season was all about connection: making new friends and fostering communities! As we kicked off the season with a concert on the Nonsuch (yes, the ship!) and finished it by travelling to Neubergthal, we continued our work of uplifting Manitoban artists.

Highlights include: A world premiere by Ellen Peterson, welcoming new friends from Strange Victory Performance, and the departure of our dear General Manager, Rea Kavanagh.


2021-2022 Annual Report

From Chautauqua: The Interlake Trail to filming Teeny Tiny videos, this season was a blend of digital and in-person projects coming to fruition! This experimental and creative season was a delight to share with our patrons.

Highlights include: The myth of Janus told by End of the West’s In Time, a new Artistic Director, the vast Chautauqua series, and our Theatre-Maker Cohort!
