Our popular writer/performer series In The Chamber is back! This year’s installment features a new solo play by Ellen Peterson and an original festive choral presentation by the Fu Fu Chi Chi Choir.

This year’s writers were commissioned to explore our society’s relationship to the holidays, our economy and the individual pursuit for meaning in the current economic climate.   Ellen Peterson has penned Eight Tiny Reindeer of the Apocalypse!   Sound Heavy?  Don’t fret – The Fu Fu Chi Chi Choir promise Donkeys and Orphans – it will be an evening of humour &  music and holiday cheer!

The Fu Fu Chi Chi Choir is amusing, sometimes baffling, but always entertaining. Their edgy style combines beautiful harmonies with social commentary and is comprised of some of the best female talent in town.

“And lo, they were troubled times throughout the land when Deanne did come to the Walmart on that fateful day. The Great Seventh Recession had caused many people all over the world to save their money for food and shelter instead of buying gifts for their loved ones. Retailers saw their all-important December profits shrink, and they were sore afraid.”
